Goodbye turns eyes wet

“Never say goodbye because goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting.”― J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan

I'm not a goodbye person. In fact, I don´t even get the goodbye thing. Saying goodbye is never good. What´s the good in a goodbye? Seriously. I´ve been thinking about that during the last few days and I still haven´t got the answer. I believe that's one of the bullshitiest words ever invented. It's not like you're given the choice to say bad-bye, or awful-bye, or couldn't-care-less-about-you-bye. Everytime you leave, it's supposed to be a good one. I wish there was a word between hello and goodbye, because that´s the word my soul has been trying to say. Malditos imponderables.

“I had a dream about you. The king decreed we could only speak one word, and that word would be assigned to us. Your word was hello, and my word was goodbye. You made me happy, and I made you sad. Or so I thought. Turns out you rather liked me telling you goodbye. You just wished I didn’t keep saying it. You thought one time was good enough and that after that I should never speak to you again.” ― Jarod Kintz,
